Mission: Amazing

First, thank you so much for taking a few minutes to visit my blog and read the words I’ve been wanting to put into the universe for years. I am a 40-something, Christ-following, constantly learning mother, wife, and sales professional. My hope is that my small step in faith in writing this blog will bless you some way.

This blog is to share ideas I have learned in my career and walk with Christ with other women like me – busy professionals in sales or business, with families to care for and big goals to achieve. Women who have a deep relationship with Christ or those who are just getting to know him. You’re going to get a mix of ideas from me – sales tips, thoughts on scripture, productivity and time management best practices, insights on how to communicate more effectively…basically all the stuff I’m studying, learning, or am already an expert on that I’m sharing with my coaching clients or implementing in my professional life (or both).

A little about me…

In my career, I am a professional saleswoman and coach. I am an expert at helping people with sales and leadership skills, systems, and motivation. As a coach, I have worked with people who are new to sales, top-producing sales experts generating millions of dollars in revenue, CEOs, Market Directors, and small business owners. In particular, over half my clientele are insurance agency owners, as I have a special fondness for their scrappy blend of being a business owner, leader, and salesperson. But I enjoy serving anyone who has a desire to become more fully the person they feel they are created to be as expressed in their career. As a saleswoman, I am a consistent Top Producer at my company, earning awards both for sales and for coaching acumen.

In my personal life, I’ve been married for 15+ years and have two young-ish children, as well as two cheeky boston terriers. I love fitness and personal development – and am so proud to be in the best shape of my life in my 40’s. I can sing the lyrics of most of the Disney animated movie song catalog and rap along with 90s hip hop. I love to read most anything I can get my hands on, especially content about, personal development vision, goal setting, how the brain works, and Christian apologetics.

I am learning to be a disciple of Jesus and to incorporate his teachings into all aspects of my life and interactions. I am learning to be a better wife, mom, coach, saleswoman, and community member with Christ as my teacher. I am learning to love my younger self, the one who endured sexual trauma as a teenager and coped in very unhealthy ways as a young adult. All of this is very much a work in progress

As an Enneagram 3w4, I am goofy and playful at times, dark and overly serious at others. I crave being alone and also the adoration of a crowd. Some days I am killing it and wearing sparkly dresses while accepting company awards, other days I am crying on the phone with my therapist. I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
